Lila has always be drawn to statues of people (or sometimes frogs). Here’s an example of her looking over a statue of a pirate at the hotel in Orlando (our Thanksgiving trip to Disney). She’s very interested in the details of how it is made, notice the attention to the rip in the pirate’s shirt. This pirate is weathered b/c of it’s age (not by design). The video is muted.

THis is Oct. 20th and Lila is really working on her reading. This is just after a bath, thus the wet hair.
So Lila woke up very early the day after daylight savings time ended. She And I went downstairs and send said she wanted to build a house. This amazing girl did this creation in about twenty minutes. All I helped with was the structural reinforcement on the roof.
She colored it after is was put together.
